Puja Vidhi and Mantras to Worship Maa Shailputri

Shardiya Navratri 2022 Starts From Today:~ The auspicious 9 days festival of Shardiya Navratri begins from today. This is a total of 9 days of festival, And today is day 1. This Festival Is dedicated to Goddess Durga (Maa Durga). This festival falls during the onset of autumn or sharad in the month of Ashwin shukla  Paksha.

This Hindu festival Is Called Navratri because, There is a combination of two words Nav plus Ratri. Nav means Nine and ratri means Night. Puja Vidhi and Mantras to Worship Maa Shailputri.

Mata Shailputri is worshipped on the first day. She is also known as Hemavati and Parvati. She was daughter of king daksh. She was reborn as Shailputri. Shailputri is also a combination of two words: Shail plus Putri. Shail means Mountain and Putri means Daughter. She is represented with Two hands in one hand,  she holds Trishul (Trident) in the right hand and a pink Lotus flower in the left hand. 

• Maa Shailputri is hailed as mother of nature and prayed  for attaining spiritual awakening.

Puja vidhi (Worship Method)

First of all, Purify all the things which is to be used in Puja By Gangajal (water of ganga river).

Then worship lord Ganesha for blessing trouble-free Navratri Vrat.

Now Light up with Diya. And place it in the right side of Goddess, Idol or image.

And now Invoke Maa Shailputri by chanting the following Mantras.

Bhog Offer to Maa Shailputri

Prasad made up of Pure Desi Ghee.

Kheer Made up of Pure cow’s Milk.

Fruits like Coconut, Banana, Apple, guava etc.

Paan, supari, Haldi and Kumkum.
