Jeddah art exhibition provides platform for local talent

JEDDAH: More than 90 young Saudi artists from diverse backgrounds showcased their work and techniques at the recent Plastic Art Exhibition in Jeddah.

His five-day event, titled ‘Colorful Rhythm’, will showcase more than 200 works at the
Saudi Art Center.

In the presence of a large number of artists, intellectuals, and diplomats, the opening ceremony was delivered by Mohammed Al-Subay, Director of the Saudi Association for Culture and Arts.

Organized by the Golden Enamel Group, the exhibition is one of his largest artistic gatherings in Jeddah this year, bringing together 90 of his male and female artists from across the kingdom.

Meanwhile, Asir’s Sara Abdullah Al-Qarni said she is passionate about art and sees the exhibition as a great opportunity to showcase the artistic traditions of the southern kingdom through her abstract works. 

Saliha Al-Ahmari said Said: The organizers have provided us with a wonderful platform for all artists to showcase our talents, so we look forward to a variety of creative artworks. It really gives you the opportunity to meet and learn from artists.”
